FORMEX® films

ITW Formex® fire-resisting insulating materials offer superior electrical insulation for electronic equipment used in the consumer and industrial sectors.  ADDEV Materials converts and distributes Formex® in rolls, sheets and panels – due to the impressive flexibility of this insulator we can also convert it into a wide variety of shapes.

Formex material is an electrically-insulating plastic film whose flexibility is greater than any other fire-resisting insulating material. Because of these properties, it has successfully replaced a large number of electrical insulating papers as well as thermoplastic materials and injection moulded parts.

ITW Formex® films and panels are made from polypropylene (PP). These products offer good value for money, and are easy to process and convert. They are easily cut, folded, thermoformed, slitted, welded or coated with adhesive on our high-performance machines.

ADDEV Materials also offers a custom cutting service for its ITW Formex® insulating materials. We meet the specific demands of customers which require high-quality insulating parts, such as those operating in the electrical engineering or railway sectors.
