KAPTON® films

Kapton® film is a polyimide film with exceptional electrical, mechanical, physical and chemical properties. Thanks to these outstanding properties, Kapton® is a flexible insulating material which is stable even at extreme temperatures, indeed it can be used at between -269 °C and + 400 °C. Kapton® (or polyimide) film can be used in various industrial applications which demand exceptional electrical, mechanical or thermal properties.

For applications which involve exposure to high temperatures and significant levels of vibration, Kapton® is widely used due to its ability to maintain its unique combination of properties under the harshest of conditions.
