VILEDON®

VILEDON® is a non-woven material based on fibres (aramid or polyester) which offer very good electrical insulation and thermal stability properties.

The physical and chemical properties of VILEDON® vary depending on the type of synthetic fibre used and on any other compounds added.

 

For example, aramid fibres produce a fabric with excellent thermal stability and durability for insulation applications on motors, generators and transformers.

 

VILEDON® is a mechanically consolidated polyester non-woven fabric which is widely used in thermal insulation systems providing inter-layer protection in cables.

 

In electrical applications, the use of impregnation resins as insulating materials requires mechanically strong and chemically stable materials which absorb well - VILEDON® non-woven fabrics satisfy these requirements perfectly.
